"Angelos" is run by ex Greek Merchant Navy and
ex New York restaurant owner - Angelos Bardis. Angelos is a charming and
friendly host, offering traditional Greek hospitality with a personal touch.
A warm welcome awaits you.
Angelos with his son Georgios who sometimes
helps his father when not learning the restaurant trade in Switzerland.
Angelos restaurant "The Golden Moon" is where
guests are served their breakfast (continental). He also serves other meals
throughout the day to guests and passing trade. The food is mainly Greek
traditional with a wide variety of grills including fish and also vegetarian
dishes. Specialities include fried sardines, pastichio, moussaka, sofrito,
stuffed tomatoes/peppers etc.....
What better way on a hot day, to cool down
under the shade of the vine leaves with Angelos "Greek air-conditioning"
i.e. the sea breeze, to enjoy a refreshing Greek salad and a drink.
If you visit during September you will be
encouraged to pick and eat as many grapes as you wish. They are a delicious
accompaniment to the breakfast supplied.
